Thank you for visiting my photography site.
This site came about because of a trip to New Zealand back in 2007. At the time I owned a point and shoot, four megapixel Kodak digital camera. I took a lot of pictures on that trip but was disappointed when I found out I could could only enlarge my pictures to 8 ½ by 11. Still, I thought I had taken some really nice pictures and I knew that on my next trip to New Zealand I would have to have a better camera. So in June of 2009, I bought a Nikon D90 and fitted it with a 18-200 mm Nikor lens.
Then in December of 2009, I returned to New Zealand with my new Nikon and spent a month dragging my wife around the countryside. This time I took twice as many pictures as the first trip and my wife thought the camera had been surgically attached to my face.
What you see on this site are mostly pictures I took on that second trip to New Zealand. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them. If you see something you really like and would like a copy, shoot me an email and we'll try to work something out.
Cheers!
